God Wrote Our Love Story
It wasn't always easy, and sometimes it was difficult not knowing what the next chapter in our life was going to be, but we've learned to trust the Author of our story.
On August 5th, 2018 Iván and I met during church services in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We talked every day. Our friendship grew, and so did our admiration and respect for each other.
We were from two different worlds: Colorado, United States and Santiago, Chile. Over 5,000 miles apart, different languages, different cultures, and different life experiences were only a few of the challenges we faced.
Though Iván returned to Chile, we still communicated every day through text and phone calls. January of 2019, we received the blessing from our parents to begin courtship. As some of you know, long distance relationships aren't always easy, but we kept it in prayer and in June of 2019, Iván made plans to come visit the States again.
Things, didn't turn out as we expected and the situation became quite complicated. We prayed, asking for God's Perfect Will.
In August of 2019, my parents and I were on a plane flying to Santiago, Chile. And on August 14th, Iván asked me to become his wife.
We look forward to sharing our special day with family and friends as we began this exciting new chapter of our life.
